Directions
Oatmeal Crumb Topping for Pies,Especially good on apple or peach pies. My original recipe says it make enough for 2 8-inch pies but a lot of times use the whole thing on one 10-inch.,I will save this as a bookmark, the topping is very good but site is too cluttered to find all the information in one accessible spot. Tons of ads, all of which are an unwelcome but necessary intrustion. used a full quarter of unsalted butter and cut it in with my hands. Doubled up to measures and two cans of fruit but kept the small size 8X8 pan lined with parchment paper, rather than spray goop. Tasty, the combo of salt, butter, and I also added 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts, halved the oatmeal. Going to tag the site for the directions. Thanks for posting. YouTube channel might be a good idea, your comments are fun, too.,Tweaked it a bit. Added a bit more oats and less flour. More cinnamon too. It was delicious!
