Tacos from Scratch (Way Better Than a Packet and Just As Easy!), Those taco seasoning packets are usually so high in sodium and contain all kinds of unecessary junk Give this one a try You can adjust the seasoning to your liking, add onions when you brown the beef or not, whatever you like I like to add fresh jalapenos when I add the sauce Consider this a base recipe Enjoy!, I cooked these for a friend who is a wizard in the Kitchen and I had to come back to get a copy for her She couldn’t believe how good they were , This was the first time I’ve tried a taco meat recipe cooked with tomato sauce I did try to make it as written, but I didn’t think I had coriander used dried 2 tsp cilantro instead, then I realized I actually did have coriander I added maybe 1/2 tsp, maybe a tad more than that I eyeballed that part Even with my mishap, this turned out great I love the flavors, perfect amounts of cumin and chili powder in my opinion Great recipe! I’m thinking this would make great taco burgers!
