Grilled Garlic Tomatoes,Just pop them on the grill along side whatever else you are cooking!,Update: This is probably one of the best recipes I have come across this summer! Some more suggestions!! Use vine ripen tomatoes; they seem to impart with a better flavor and hold up to grilling than the bigger, flesher tomatoes. Do away with the tin foil tray and use an small cookie sheet that can go directly on the bbq; it was a good idea but unless you can stablize the tin foil with another tray, it is very wobbly (we dropped a couple)!! used the tray that came with my toaster oven. Make sure to use either a large garlic or 2 small …and most definately seed the tomatoes!! June, 2010: We quite enjoyed this recipe. I only had Panko breadcrumbs on hand and I found that it worked very well. I would do this recipe again! Thanks for the posting!!

Preheat Grill to High. |

Layer 2 Sheets (12x12-Inches Each) of Foil to Form Double Thickness. |

Place Foil Sheets on Cookie Sheet, Spray Foil With Nonstick Cooking Spray and Set Aside. |

Combine Mayonnaise, Parmesan Cheese, Bread Crumbs, Garlic and Lemon Juice. |

Season the Cut-Side of Each Tomato Half With Salt and Pepper Then Top With the Mayonnaise Mixture. |

Arrange Tomatoes on Foil Sheets and Slide Foil Sheets Onto Grill. |

Grill 12 to 15 Minutes in Covered Grill or Until Tops of Tomatoes Are Browned. |
