2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 cinnamon stick
1 teaspoon chili powder (heat to taste)
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 tablespoon garlic (minced)
1/4 teaspoon turmeric

    Mushroom Masala,This is a yummy sounding recipe I found on Spices of India website. Posted for ZWT 8 India,Reviewed for ZWT8 visit to India. Loved these mushrooms. I think next time though I might tone down the red hot chilli powder (crushed red chillis) a little though. Having said this thoug, I really enjoyed this dish. Photo also to be posted

    Heat the Oil in a Pan and Add the Cloves and Cinnamon Stick. Fry For a Few Seconds, Add the Onions and Saute For a Few More Minutes. Add the Chili Powder, Coriander, Garlic and Tumeric Along With Just a Little Bit of Water and Saute Until the Onions Soften. Add the Tomato Puree, Mushrooms and Salt and Simmer For 5-8 Mins on Low Heat. Serve Hot, Great With Rice!
