1/4 cup chopped of fresh mint or 1/4 cup cilantro
1 lime, zest and juice
1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
1 large jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon crushed red hot pepper

    Very interesting flavor, quite nice actually. used the recipe above as a base and recommend the following. Use 4 fresh pears, half a ripe habernero, add some sugar to help maserate the pears in the fridge. used the cilantro but I plan on trying the mint next. Give it a whirl it's great.

    in a Medium Bowl, Gently Toss Cubed Pears With Chopped Dried Pears, Red Onion, Mint, Lime Juice and Zest, Ginger, Jalapeno Pepper, Salt and Hot Pepper Until Well Mixed.
