My Best Chicken And Rice In Wine, Easy to make. A good mixture of flavors. One of our favorites. This is from Pierre Franey, my favorite chef. If you like you can add a bay leaf with the mushrooms., I followed the directions and only used the ingredients listed. I anticipated something rich and flavorful considering the butter, wine, garlic and onions and the rice soaking up all that goodness. Instead, it seemed to lack flavor and was only deemed “okay” by my family. If I mde this again I would definitely season my chicken before browning and probably experiment a little with additional ingredients as most of the other reviewers did., My husband made this tonight – it was very good!
