Cream of Broccoli Soup,I personally dislike broccoli, but I can eat the whole pot of this marvelous soup! HINT: If you add a good dose of Garam Masala it gives the soup oomph without detracting from its flavor.,Very easy and tasty, just a little thin for my taste so I thickened it up a bit with flour. I also added some minced garlic, but otherwise used the recipe as is. I will definitely make it again!,I, and many of my guests, liked the flavor of this soup but found it too thin. Like others I added a couple cloves of garlic and some cumin and did not blend some of the chopped, coooked broccoli. If I make it again, though, I would reduce the chicken broth by a couple of cups and add half that amount back with half and half or cream, or make a roux to begin with which I avoided in order to try to keep it gluten free for my guests..

Melt Butter in Saucepan, Add Onion, Carrot and Celery. |
