Chicken Dopiaza, In Hindi “do” means “two” and “piaza” refers to onions – hence the origin of the name of this dish, which has prominent flavors of onion., I added some tomato puree and a little youghurt, I’m wondering with the 6 small onions, how small are we talking here? Seems like the onions in my grocery, if halved would be around 1/4 pound or so. If only cooked to translucency, aren’t you biting into an onion chunk that is mostly raw on the interior? Rx looks straightforward otherwise.

Heat 2 Tablespoons Oil and Fry the Halved Onions Until Tender and Translucent. Remove and Keep Aside. |
