Smoked Trout With Crackers and a Lemon Dill Mayonnaise, A very simple, yet delicious appetizer recipe I love these flavor combinations From Eating Well , What I love about Culinary Quest is trying ingredients from other countries I love smoked trout and in the PNW we use trout smoked usually on Alderwood and it’s a dry trout But at the Scandinavian store the smoked trout was canned My family is Norwegian and I wanted to try the trout like my great-grandma Alice would have eaten, so I tried it both ways! And I liked both preparations! (though if I had to choose, I’d choose the drier smoked salmon I’m used to) I served this to friends and we all loved the lemon dill mayo!!
