I came up with this for our dinner tonight and DH said that it was excellent and that I needed to post it on that "recipe website" The meat is simmered with the onions and peppers which are then made into a gravy. You could also add mushrooms which I didn't due to an allergy. I did, however, saute some on the side for DH.

Beef Chuck Steak W/Onions & Peppers, I came up with this for our dinner tonight and DH said that it was excellent and that I needed to post it on that “recipe website” The meat is simmered with the onions and peppers which are then made into a gravy. You could also add mushrooms which I didn’t due to an allergy. I did, however, saute some on the side for DH., This turned out really good and tender. I seasoned with steak seasoning, black pepper, onion powder, garlic and herb before browning. Browned in butter instead of cooking spray. Added worshire sauce while browning. When it was done hour in my cast iron skillet I removed steaks and added the cornmeal. No water because it was still juicy from broth used a whole cup because I had 2 steaks. Served with bed of rice and baked potatoes. Used whole onion, red pepper, yellow pepper, green pepper , onions and mushrooms. Family loved it.
