Oriental Baked Chicken, Simple but not short on taste! I found this recipe on the back of a Campbell’s Tomato Soup can. It quickly became a hit at our house., I’ve been making this for years . Got the recipe from the label. My daughter loves it and we call it tomato soup chicken. I bake the chicken in the sauce and it comes out delicious and juicy. Usually make a rice pilaf to go with it . Fresh ginger and garlic enhance the sauce nicely., If you are looking for an oriental recipe for chicken, this ain’t it. However, the taste of the chicken you end up with is pretty good. Very different from what you have had before. I will make it again just for the chicken, but not to serve over rice or anything else. I will also try the sauce on beef when I make my next batch of goulash which will probably be outstanding. Very quick and easy to make. Like others, I doubled the ginger and garlic which I am glad I did. Otherwise, it would have tasted like chicken baked in tomato soup:
