Homemade Snickers-Style Chocolate Bar Delights

Excellent recipe. Let me preface my opinion by saying I love chocolate and peanut butter together, but I believe this recipe has too much peanut butter. It is a very good tasting bar, but it's more like a nutrageous than a snickers. The nougat is a really nice texture, and the caramel is just right for the candy bar as far a consistancy. Peanut butter, however, overpowers most of the other flavors in this recipe. IMO 'balance' of flavors makes a great recipe, this one just becomes a little one dimensional with peanut butter taste. BUT...they are really good bars. Everyone liked them Don't take this as a negative review, I'm being very critical for the purpose of informing others. I just feel the nomenclature 'snickers' could be a little misleading. I will eliminate the peanut butter in at least one layer of the chocolate next time. but I am grateful to have a great base for an easy (great) nougat and easy caramel, that would go well in any candy bar.
