Blue Cheese and Caramelized Onion Squares, Time includes time to let the dough rise , I haven’t tried this, so I’m not giving stars but reading this recipe and the review makes me wonder if this would be good to put a layer of baby spinach leaves between the dough and the blue cheese I think I need to try that!!!, Made this for Spring 2008 PAC only adjustment I made was to use 1/2 wheat flour for the dough The dough turned out fine (surpise for me cause I’m horrid at those types of doughs) but I felt needed more flavor I absolutely loved the flavor of the carmelized onions maybe some fresh rosemary in the dough would add the flavor I was looking for? I only used 4 oz’s of bleu cheese because what I had picked up was pretty good quality and very creamy and strong flavored My kids had mixed reviews with the surprise being that my 9yr old son loved it My best friend stopped by and tried it as well and she really enjoyed it as well Therefore the 4 star rating it was the happy medium between us all Thinking we might try this with feta cheese instead might make a great lunch bread with a spinach salad lol
