2 ounces margarine
1 1/2 teaspoons mustard powder
1 tablespoon parmesan cheese
1/4 - 1/2 cup fresh chives, chopped
5 ounces cheddar cheese, grated
1 cup milk, to mix
1 pinch salt

    Very good! But, I added milk until consistency was wet and similar to drop biscuits and then I skipped the rolling step and just dropped lumps of dough onto a cookie sheet. Baked for approximately 10-12 minutes at 400 degrees. Very easy!!

    Cheese and Chive Scones, Easy to bake–tasty and so versatile Yummy when still warm, great with a filling, or cold on a picnic Delicious split and grilled–my family loves these , Very good!     Sift Flour, Salt and Baking Powder Together. Rub in the Margarine. Add the Mustard, Cheeses and Chives. Mix Well and Add the Milk to Give a Fairly Soft Dough.

    Roll Out to About 1 1/4 Inches Thick. Cut and Brush Slightly With Milk and Add a Sprinkling of Extra Grated Cheese on Top--not Too Much.

    Bake in a Hot Oven (210-220c) For Approximately 7 to 10 Minutes.
