Fruit Chaat Fruit Salad

Features:
    Cuisine:

What a wonderful and sophisticated fruit salad! The chutneys and spices (I made Sana's Green Chutney Recipe #156498 and Tamarind Date Chutney Recipe #156496 and my Chat Masala Recipe) combine to make a very complex dressing which, in turn, makes the fruit and vegetable combination taste very rich and sweet, even though there is only the touch of sugar in the Tamarind Chutney. I skipped the potatoes, gooseberries and grapes, and adjusted the amounts of the fruit and dressing accordingly. A bowl of this is a wonderful dessert or brunch item, and is very satisfying despite the fact that it is very low in calories and nearly fat free. Superb, Sana!
