Crockery Pot Taco Casserole, This is a very good taco casserole Something different to have on a taco Friday!!, This was very good, even though (to my surprise) I had no chili used one can of refried beans in its place with no problems I cannot wait to try it with chili Just great!! Thanks so much , This was good, but the directions were not I couldn’t make out specifics in the ingredients, so, used 1 15 oz can of tomato sauce, 1 15 oz can of corn (instead of frozen) and only used 1 can of chili I placed one decent sized layer of Doritos over my meat & then used the rest on the side I found that 6 hours was waaaay too long in my crockpot, maybe b/c it’s a bigger crockpot? It was a tasty enough meal though, and we liked it w/all the taco fixins’ – taco sauce, gauc, sour cream, tomato and lettuce Was great the next day reheated over plain corn chips as a taco salad Great for a summer day when I don’t want to use my oven!
