Fabulous Beef Stew

Features:
    Cuisine:

Definitely some of the best and easiest beef stew I've ever had. A couple of changes due to necessity: 1) No bouillon granules so used beef broth 2) Ingredients wouldn't fit in my smallish slow cooker so used my cast iron dutch oven. In the oven on 300 degrees for about an hour, lowered heat to 200 degrees and cooked for about 4.5 hours. Then I warmed up some crusty french bread...yum! Will definitely be making again and again. And PS: I don't mind using the oven in the cooler months - just helps to heat the house.
