Uncle Bill’s Microwave Potato Chips, These potato chips are very easy to make in the microwave Also, they are healthier for you as they are not cooked in any oils This method has intrigued so many people that have tasted them and then made them for themselves The younger people just love them , Having a microwave bacon tray convinced me to try this While the mandolin I have was too small, and my knife technique made larger than desired slices, 5 mins each batch resulted in – first batch, crispy as, delicious A bit harder than the deep fried variety, but with garlic salt, delicious second batch – the larger unknown slices, mostly great I’m sure with cooling they harden up more I need a proper mandolin But I feel bad Because I made a chip butty (crisp butty if you’re not a scouser haha), me ol’ dad would have been in the kitchen 24/7 if he knew these were possible hehe Perfect snack for a mid evening stormy night movie 4/10 because I should have known about this in 2002 and not 2021 I take one point off for me being slow oO 19 years I never knew Oo, I love potatoes and also love chips so I must try this but Have 1 question; why soak the slices in water for 10 minutes? Must try both ways Thanks

If Potatoes Are Old, Peel and Slice Thin, Less Than 1/16" in Thickness (paper Thin), Slicing Across the Potato. |
