Haitian Diri Ak Pwa (Rice and Beans),This is from whats4eats.com. Moros y Christianos is made in different ways throughout the Caribbean. What follows is the Haitian version. The butter plays off really well against the creaminess of the kidney beans. Instead of a scotch bonnet, you could use Tabasco’s chipotle sauce.,This was very good, almost like my former co-worker’s dish. I did use the scotch bonnet, but put it in a tea ball to cook in the beans, less chance of it falling apart. I did not change anything else. It is easy to make and delicious to eat.
