Cinnamon Carrot Casserole, WONDERFUL FLAVOR!! Bake along in oven with a meat or Microwave for a quick and easy casserole The butter-cinnamon mixture is AWESOME with the carrots and makes a good side dish with any dinner! Great to carry to a potluck because it is great served hot or cold , Hi Emily I can’t wait to try this recipes you submitted for Cinnamon Carrot Casserole My question is did you have an excess of liquid after cooking? If so, did you use a slotted spoon for serving or drain excess liquid prior to serving?, Seems to be WAY too much water, and too much sugar and butter for only one lb of carrots All you need is a small splash then you wont have to drain or save the juice as others have stated I remade the recipe with just a splash Of water, less brown sugar and less butter I let it set and was a perfect amount didnt need any draining With the amount of sugar and butter in this recipe, you can cook twice as many carrots in the recipe without draining anything out of it
