Buttermilk Cinnamon Rolls,Easy and so good.,Uh, you need to add sugar to proof the yeast. But I added the 1/3 c that sweet yeast breads always add. Also, did it in the bread maker (dough setting), used melted stick of butter instead of oil, used a cup of buttermilk and half c. of skim milk (no water) to keep the dough from being too wet. Making “holiday bread” in small loaf pans, so knead in fruitcake mix and citron, then ice when it’s cool.,I’ve been looking for a light and fluffy buttermilk cinnamon roll for a long time. One of the many things great about the cinnamon roll recipe is the texture it’s light and fluffy not too complicated and you have hot fresh summer rolls in the morning. And is very versatile you can put about anyting in it. I made cinnamon rolls Maple rolls and our planning to make orange rolls. I have nothing but praise for this recipe.
