Fried Apple Rings, These are a great snack, side dish, dessert, breakfast anything goes!! Another great way to use up apples that are past their prime Simple, but different and very tasty, and kids love these, too I think I practically lived on these when I was a kid grandma made them for us all the time:) When served as a dessert, they are great with a dollop of whipped topping , Almost just like Oma’s A really keeper , Excellent batter coating that actually stayed together for me! I mixed all ingredients together to make the batter which worked out well I did not make apple rings, making slices instead I laid the fried apples on a plate and sprinkled with cinn/sugar mix Wish I would have sprinkled both sides, as the apples were not that sweet
