    Instead of following my instinct I followed the recipe. I read other recipes and they all said to add the biscuits later on in the cooking process. This recipe has everything going in at the same time. There is no instructions to let the chicken cook and add the biscuits 20 mins or an hour or two before completions. Bad idea. My advise to anyone using this recipe to add the biscuits about an hour before you are ready to serve.

    Chicken & Dumplings Like Grandma’s (Crock-Pot), Kid approved chicken & dumplings made in the crockpot, with easy ingredients to throw into the crockpot in the morning before work My son says this is as good as his Grandma’s, so it must be pretty good! Delicious and easy to make I followed the recipe as stated, but used whole raw chicken breast It cooked on low for 7 hours I shredded the chicken and added frozen peas near the end of cooking This will be in the regular rotation!
