1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 cup all-purpose flour
5 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts (i like pecans)

Doing it that way made it taste a lot like the Pampered Chef’s Nana’s Apple Cake! Thank you for a great recipe.,I honestly did not enjoy this recipe, and I made it exactly as written. The only thing I could taste in the topping was flour. It really needed more brown sugar to make it sweeter and hide the flour taste. Even with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, it was only mediocre.

    to Make the Filling--in a 9-Inch Pie Pan That's 2 Inches Deep (or a Similar Baking Pan), Toss the Apples With the Sugar to Taste, Cinnamon, and Flour.
