Dads Venison Chili

Features:
    Cuisine:

Way too much cumin but a good base. I cut cumin powder and cumin seed in half, 2 tsp salt, 3 cans dark red kidney beans, 2 tsp black pepper, 2 tsp cayenne powder, and 1/4 granulated garlic to elevate flavors. I made first batch and to cut cumin I made another batch and simmered it together and it was perfect. The modifications above reflect one batch.

Dad’s Venison Chili, This is my Dad’s awesome chili recipe. He got a deer this year so I actually got to make it tonight with some ground venison he had given us. This one puts together quick, with just an onion and a pepper to dice, then waiting and enjoying that great smell. Deeeeee-licious!, Way too much cumin but a good base. The modifications above reflect one batch., Turned out great. Added garlic, hot peppers, bacon, and used beer instead of water. Thanks for the recipe!
