Prep time includes chilling time , This is an awesome recipe I have made it a few times now and it’s always a hit I follow the recipe without changing anything; it’s easy and perfect as it is Thanks Mirj for a keeper :-), This is another winner! We’re at that time when it’s too late for North American Sweet onions and too early for South American, so used a Large Red Onion If this is as good with Sweets as it is with Reds I wil have no complaints Thanx!

    Place the Mushrooms in a Flat Serving Dish.

    Place the Rest of the Ingredients Into a Small Heavy Saucepan.

    Bring the Ingredients to a Boil and Cook Until the Onions Soften.

    Pour the Marinade Over the Mushrooms and Arrange the Onion Slices Around the Mushrooms Attractively.

    Let the Mushrooms Marinate at Room Temperature For 4 Hours, Stirring Frequently.
