Amish Cup Cheese Spreading Cheese

Features:
    Cuisine:

This was good - kind of like a home-made version of Cheeze Whiz. I only made 1/5 of the recipe as there are only 2 people in my house! I added 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder for a little extra flavor. Seems like a good thing to have around for snacks. I personally might reduce the amount of liquid a bit next time ( used 3/4 cup water and 3/4 cup milk to 1 pound of cheese), as the mixture remained slightly liquidy after refrigerating overnight, and I was hoping for something a bit firmer - mine had a hard time staying put once I spread it on the bread ;)
But that's just my preference. A solid, easy recipe.
