Gluten Free Danish,WOW! I just made these delicious danish’s. Not only were they fabulous, but they were really quick and easy to make!! Although they don’t have a flaky pastry taste like the gluten containing danish’s, they have their own little marvalous taste. You won’t be able to eat just one! You can make these with your favourite jam. used a tablespoon of raspberry jam on each danish and drizzled some icing on top.,Pretty easy to make, I subbed arrowroot for the corn starch. Light and springy- not quite the flaky you’ll get from a gluten-laden sugared creation from a bakery, but a good substitute. I would’ve liked the dough to be a bit sweeter, my kiddos who are 4 and 2 ate them though, and half the time they won’t eat GF goodies (even though I’m fairly certain the 4 yo has gluten intolerances), so I consider this recipe a win!,Great flavor. Found it strange to have yeast with no rise time. I seemed lumpy & runny but it worked out great. Am trying a rise with the second batch just to see how it works out.
