Crock Pot Chicken Stroganoff, I like this recipe because my family does not like beef stroganoff and this still tastes like stroganoff. Try it out and see for yourself. I got this recipe from a recipe group on Yahoo Groups called Crockpot_Recipes., Delicious & so easy too….to this fabulous recipe I added 3 large sliced Swiss mushrooms, 1 thinly sliced onion & half a thinly sliced stick of celery. I then lightly browned the mushies, onion & chicken in a little butter/oil before putting in the slow cooker. I also added 2 tablespoons of cream cheese & 1 tspn of Worcestershire sauce to the soup/sour cream mix. I also only used 1 Tblspn of the soup mix due to adding an onion. Served over fresh pappardelle pasta & with a crusty home made sourdough loaf it was a sensational meal. Thank you for posting this., I haven’t used my crockpot much. I decided to try this recipe due to the ratings. We found it just mediocre and I won’t be making it again because it was pretty bland.

Cook on Low For About 7-8 Hours, or Until Chicken Is No Longer Pink in the Center. |

Stir Sauce Before Cooking and If You Would Like to Thicken Sauce, Add Flour or Cornstarch. |
