Mile High Biscuits

    Cuisine:

We liked everything about this but the sugar. WAY too much. Next time I'll cut it down to one tablespoon. The biscuits taste like cake. If you like that kind of biscuit then this is your recipe! used buttermilk and they came out nice and fluffy.

Mile High Biscuits,I got this recipe in a church cookbook years ago and have been making them ever since. They are extremely tender with a flavor that no store bought biscuit could ever come up with. Makes breakfast or any meal special. (And they are so easy too),We liked everything about this but the sugar. WAY too much. Next time I’ll cut it down to one tablespoon. The biscuits taste like cake. If you like that kind of biscuit then this is your recipe! used buttermilk and they came out nice and fluffy.
