Directions
Roast Crock Pot Chicken, Whole chicken that actually browns in the crock pot The secret is to place it on top of wadded balls of aluminum foil Tastes just like it came from the deli , Did not come out very well Did not brown Was very disappointing , I made this, following the instructions very carefully and the chicken was HORRIBLE! After 10 hours on low it was NOT browned at all It was rubbery and a sickly yellow color I put it in the oven and managed to brown it a bit but overall I consider this recipe a waste of time If the author of it had been in my kitchen when I removed the chicken from the crock pot, I would have been tempted to hit him/her with the rubbery bird!
