Quick Whipping Cream Biscuits

Wow...we loved these easy, delicious biscuits! I made a quarter recipe and got 6 flaky biscuits using a 3" biscuit cutter. used heavy whipping cream (that is what I had on hand) and didn't brush the tops with butter. I was using them with sausage gravy pour over the top and didn't think it needed the melted butter. Even with the gravy, we could taste how rich and yummy they were. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe. It is definitely a keeper! **Made for 2018 Football Pool**

Quick Whipping Cream Biscuits,Another quick and easy Southern Living recipe. Haven’t tried them yet, but they sound delicious. Due to the richness of these biscuits, they are probably best kept for holidays and special occasions. This recipe makes two dozen biscuits, so feel free to halve or quarter the recipe.,Wow…we loved these easy, delicious biscuits! I halved the recipe, and it made 20 (1) biscuits for me, with the 2 inch cutter. (The (1) is for the last little scraps that I pushed into shape inside the cutter?LOL) I baked 12 of them immediately and had GREAT success freezing 8 of them for later. Just pulled them out right before baking and added 5 minutes to the cooking time. A friend saw the pic I shared and said they looked like canned biscuits – that WAS a compliment! Thanks for sharing, Nancy’s Pantry!
