Savory Summer Squash and Zucchini Bake Casserole

    Cuisine:

Easy to make, tastes great and is the perfect "fresh from the garden dish." used pasta sauce instead of canned tomatoes since I didn't have any and it was surprisingly delicious. Next time, which will be soon, I am adding sweet corn for some crunch. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

Zucchini or Yellow Squash Casserole, This is different from your usual squash recipe A friend of mine brought it to a pot luck dinner 15 years ago and it has been a family favorite since then , Easy to make, tastes great and is the perfect fresh from the garden dish used pasta sauce instead of canned tomatoes since I didn’t have any and it was surprisingly delicious Next time, which will be soon, I am adding sweet corn for some crunch Thank you for sharing this recipe , Very good recipe! used sour dough bread and scallions instead of onion I like the idea one reviewer had of adding Italian sausage to make a complete meal Will have to try that some time!
