Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, , I finessed this as I went trying to get that classic Reeses flavor used about 3/4 cup Graham Crackers, about 1 1/3 cups Peanut Butter, about 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, 6 T butter, a splash more vanilla and about 1/8-1/4 teaspoon salt For the chocolate, I melted Hershey Kisses and stirred in some PB to make it thinner and the flavor more authentic I also didnt make this in a pan, but instead made actual cups using reviewer Roweenas instructions I formed the filling into a log and froze it, then spread about 1/2 teaspoon chocolate mixture on the bottoms of brown candy cups (can be found on Amazon), added a slice of the filling and filled the rest with the chocolate, shaking them briefly at the end to level the chocolate They turned out great! DH said they tasted like the good ol Reeses of yesteryear before they became more sweet than peanut buttery Ill definit be making these again , These are delicious and were a big hit Definitely tastes very close to a peanut butter cup Only issue I had was the chocolate was cracking when I cut them up I found that if I let them come up to room temperature I was able to cut them up easier I read that it helps if you use a hot knife to first score where you want to cut, then go back again with the hot knife to cut Next time I think I’ll try both room temp and scoring with hot knife I also plan to line the pan with parchment or waxed paper so I can easily pull it out of the pan for cutting I also found mine came out quite a bit thicker than the ones shown in the photo I can only think those were not made in an 8×8 pan, but a larger one I would prefer them thinner than how mine came out, so next time I’ll opt for a larger pan
