Amish Country Strawberry Pie,I love this pie! It’s so pretty and tastes so good.,This was great. The 4 star vs a 5 star is only due to instructions on cooking the glaze. What is ‘until thick’ to some is not ‘until thick’ to others. I questioned if I had it thick enough. Instinct and experience came through. Whisk the glaze until it just starts to thicken and also bubbles while whisking. Remove from heat and add the jello. Sit pan on wire rack in cooler area away from the heat source. Whisk a few times while cooling. Pour glaze over when it is about room temp. I had no issues with the recipe as written other than that that instruction not clear. BTW…I made a graham crust per our preference.,Wow this was awesome. I never made or had strawberry pie before. I couldn’t wait to try it so I jump started the chilling in my deep freezer. Thanks for posting.
