My Mama’s Meat Sauce, This is probably the first thing that I ever learned to cook. My mother used to cook it while I took a nap as a child, and the smell would wake me up. It’s really garlicky and the wine gives it a nice flavour. It also freezes really well. Enjoy!, My 13-year-old son selected this recipe, and cooked it for our dinner by himself. He said it was easy to make, and it was very delicious. We served three tonight, and have enough leftover for another dinner for three. Can’t wait to have it again!, Not happy with this at all. I wanted to make a meat sauce to compliment some cheese tortellini and this wasn’t it. Even alone I’m not thrilled with it at all, even after adding tomato sauce to thicken it up. Too runny, not enough taste.
