Milk Rice,This is a delicious rice dessert.,is this good to eat because i have never tried it before,Total comfort food! Kinda like a dessert risotto lol. I halved the recipe because my poor fridge is already stuffed with leftovers from my ZWT cooking frenzy. used whole milk, which made this so nice and creamy, and I didn’t need to add any extra milk, either. used blueberry honey instead of the sugar, but I added one extra spoonful to make it a bit sweeter. I also sprinkled it with some cinnamon because I adore cinnamon with most sweet stuff. This was good at any temperature, but I was especially partial to warm. Thanks for posting! Made for ZWT4

Bring Water to a Boil in a Large Saucepan. Wash the Rice and Drain It. Add the Rice to the Boiling Water, and Cook For 5 Minutes. |

Remove the Cooked Rice and Drain It. Slowly Drop the Rice Into the Boiling Milk. Lower the Heat and Add Salt, Vanilla Bean, and Sugar. Cover and Simmer 15 - 20 Minutes, Stirring Occasionally, Until the Milk Is Absorbed. Add More Milk, If Necessary For a Tender Rice. |
