Granny’s Banana Cream Pie, So delicious !!, I went with this recipe in hopes that it would hold its shape better then other recipes I have used. It does very well. Bringing the pudding mix to boil takes a long time but make sure you do and then cook it the additional 2 minutes like the recipe says. used whole milk since that is what my other recipe listed. I didn’t use all 3 bananas but that was my preference to cut them thin. I did not have a lot of extra filling as some people have stated but used deep dish crusts and the amount was perfect., I was so looking forward to this pie. I’m not sure what it was, but something was missing. I liked the pudding, but when I added it all together, it just didn’t taste as delicious as the reviews stated it would be.
