    I set out for a brown sugar shrimp recipe then realized I was out of soy sauce. So saw this made with worchestershire and decided to improvise a bit. I made the recipe as is and tweaked by browning garlic and a handfull of peanuts in a small pan. Added all else and simmered a few minutes. Spooned half over a pound of some good size shrimp, which I had quik cooked in boiling water.. About 2 minutes is all. Served rice and steamed vegee's and balance of sauce in seperate bowls to allow the fam to dish up as they liked. T'was a hit.

    Brown Sugar Chicken, This sauce is so sweet and good. I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical when I found out the strange ingredients, but it turned out to be excellent. Serve extra sauce over rice or potatoes. This could also be made in a crockpot if you cook it on low for about 4 hours. I followed the instructions to begin and after tasting the marinade I added a bit of salt and garlic. I also was short on time so I sliced the chicken into strip and coated them lightly with flour to get that flavor to stick. Cut my cook time to 25 minutes, and was able to use my cast iron from start to finish! Perfect!

    Combine Brown Sugar, Butter, Catsup, Worcestershire, and Mustard in Sauce Pan and Heat Until Butter Is Melted.
