Orange Walnut Bar Cake

Features:
    Cuisine:

In one word, this is "Delicious"! I've made it before as well and I still remember how pretty it looked when ready(after icing). It was over in minutes of going on the table:) You can also try this using all-purpose flour(instead of self raising), 1 1/2 tsps. baking powder and 1/4 tsp. baking soda. For the glaze, if you want to keep it lighter and simpler, use 1/4 cup fresh orange juice and 1/4 cup sugar. Combine the glaze ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes until a light syrup forms. This recipe is worth DOUBLING! ;-)
