Bacon-Wrapped Water Chestnuts,Even though this is a very old recipe, I thought it might be something new to the “young whipper-snappers” who have recently joined Zaar. It was always a popular appetizer.,Bringing them to a gathering tomorrow are they microwaveable if they cool down by the time I arrive or do you just rewarm in an oven or are they served cooled down?,My FAV recipe! Every time I bring it to a gathering, it disappears 🙂 I absolutely love the crunch of the water chestnuts! Its ALWAYS a hit! I never added sugar before though, only soy sauce. I soak the water chestnuts in soy sauce and then brush the left over soy sauce over the bacon before baking! Yummy! Thanks so much for sharing!
