Such an awesome recipe! Just made this tonight, and it came out great. I modified it a little. Added a couple jalapenos to give it some spicy kick. Chopped up 4 mushrooms to give it more "meatiness". Added some MSG for more umami. It was really good.

Tvp Vegan Sloppy Joes, This is the recipe from “The New Farm Vegetarian Cookbook”. SO EASY!!! My kids have always loved this, they are 15 and 11. Originally it called for 3TBS oil, use 2, but I’m sure you could use less. A little indulgence doesn’t hurt. use olive oil because I LOVE it., Such an awesome recipe! Just made this tonight, and it came out great. I modified it a little. Added a couple jalapenos to give it some spicy kick. Chopped up 4 mushrooms to give it more “meatiness”. Added some MSG for more umami. It was really good., I omitted the oil and sauteed the onions and peppers in water. Used stevia instead of regular sugar. I increased the recipe by about half son increased the ingredients a bit. That is about all I tweeking I did.
