1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, divided
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 8 ounce cup sour cream
1 tablespoon tomato sauce or 1 tablespoon ketchup
