Soft Raisin Cookies,These are delightfully soft and comforting cookies. They almost fall apart in your mouth!,these cookies, are tasty. and soft. but the recipe, as others have noted, is pretty darn runny. on my third batch, i added more flour, and i am sure they willl be better. i would say dont add all the water from the raisins boil. its too much. this cookie IS VERY SWEET. but the good thing about that ( for me anyway) is that u won’t want to eat too many lest u get sugared out. But these cookies, bc of all that sweetness, are good for a morning little sweet thing with milk or tea, or in the evening as well. IF i make this recipe again, I will make these alterations. It took me so much more time bc of all the runniness. Had to adjust the cooking time, and the ingredients. these cookies are also GREAT for someone, who, say just had some dental work done and has to watch their chewing capability and teeth at all. I could see the elderly maybe loving these.,Not terrible, but too sweet and unsubstantial. Maybe it’s just personal preference, but I think these can’t hold a candle to an oatmeal raisin cookie. Wouldn’t bother making these again.
