Best Ever Sloppy Joes, These are always a hit with everyone!, Of course I must tell you that my Sloppy Joe benchmark has been set by my lifetime gourmet chef and Mother, Ethel. God Bless Her. used a Lodge cast iron Dutch oven. I love cast iron! used ground round, fresh vegetables, and Rotel as my diced tomato. use no salt in my recipies so granulated garlic was used in place of garlic salt. Salt free ketchup, Colemans mustard. There is only one Worcestershire sauce, and that is Lea & Perrins. The steak sauce used A-1. Theres plenty of salt in the sauces and the Rotel. used hot paprika, I like a nice kick in my food. As a show of respect to Mom, I added a pinch of ground clove to the mix. The results landed it in my top 5. Its VERY good and easy to prepare. I assembled them as a plate of sliders with diced red onion and no salt Dill chips. Hot sauce, and whatever else someone might like. Very good and quite popular! Thanks for posting!
