Apple Torte (Easy-Only 3 Apples),From the Star Ledger. Published in “Jersey Fresh Cooks” (NJ Dept. of Agriculture) from Harriet Kurtzman. This is easy and good!,This is a very easy and tasty recipe. used white and brown sugar. My husband and I both love it. I made it the first time, it was all gone in two days. So I made it again…. and will continue to make this. Thank you. Love it. A+,Made this for my family’s Thanksgiving dinner dessert and it was a huge success! My husband went back for thirds and he’s not much a dessert eater. I followed the recipe exactly except I added a dash of nutmeg and allspice for the extra autumn flavor. Also, I chopped the apples to make it easier for my preschooler to eat. It was a tremendous addition to the holiday table and very easy to put together.
