Firehouse Chili,This is an excellent chili recipe. My husband is a chili lover and requests this about once a week in the Winter. It’s a little on the hot/spicy side but you can adjust the amount of seasonings if you want it milder. I like to serve this with cornbread muffins and/or crackers. (Estimated prep time. Although it calls for cooking the chili 2 hours you can cook it on low for several hours).,Chili was easy to make I followed the recipe for the most part the only thing I added was Eckrich lil smoke sausages. This gave it an after taste that isn’t bad but tends to linger. I served this to my son he said “It’s definitely better than wolf brand chili a 9 out of 10” . My wife tried it and she said it wasn’t bad and she is a very picky eater. My brother in-law and sister in-law also tried it and both said that other than the sausages I added it came out good. My brother in-law also rated a 7 out of 10. I plan on making more in the future but with different tweeks. Also I have never made chili and this was my first attempt ever. Thanks for recipe It will definitely be the base of my chili for years to come.,Meh. Taste like Canned Hormel Chile
