Scottish Apple Orange Marmalade Pie

Features:
    Cuisine:

With this recipe having apples, golden raisins, ginger snap cookies crumbled, orange marmalade, and orange zest in it you think "hmmm is this going to be good or um weird?" .......... it WAS pretty YUMMY, however I have decided that it really should be called Scottish Orange Spice pie. I think the apples and the raisins are just so that the orange flavor has something to absorb into and thus has good texture because really oranges could not be made into a pie and who wants a cream pie all the time right? SO it is really good, but no apple or raisin taste at all, and you would not know they are in there as they just seem like a trickery of orange as it makes you think you are actually eating a fresh orange in a pie (sneaky, but good sneaky) and yes yummy - 1st bite you are like "wait what?!" cuz I knew what I put in it, but then the 2nd bite and on-going was just a citrus/spice treat
