Directions
Pound Cake, Rich, buttery cake, great sliced with berries and whip cream on top! Yum!!, Not sure what happened all of the rave reviews, but mine turned out like cornbead Maybe because used 4 small loaf trays vs 2 larger loaf pans, and therefore, the cake overcooked??? It looked fine on the outside, but once cut, it tasted like sweet, but dry cornbread I added icing and will be taking to work to give the hungry employees a treat since they could care less how something tastes Back to the drawing board because I will NOT be using this recipe again!, Made this for our 4th of July picnic Served it with fresh strawberries and whipped cream When the berries ran out, people were grabbing the cake and eating it plain Oh my, this cake is gooooood!
Simple to make You’ll be proud to serve it I wouldn’t recommend it if your on a diet 🙂 Later note- it has been decided that without this cake we will not celerate the the of July
