Tasted Great! It tasted very similar to Miyabi Jr onion soup to me. I didn't' have all of the ingredients, mushrooms and green onion. used one less cup of beef broth and added both a tablespoon of La Choy soy sauce and added water to thin it a bit. I also used Wyler's bullion cubes for the broth. Different brands will definitely change the taste of the finished soup.

Miyabi Japanese Onion Soup, I am trying to duplicate the clear broth soup that is served at Miyabi – our local Japanese steakhouse Our whole family loves this soup!, Tasted Great! It tasted very similar to Miyabi Jr onion soup to me I didn’t’ have all of the ingredients, mushrooms and green onion used one less cup of beef broth and added both a tablespoon of La Choy soy sauce and added water to thin it a bit I also used Wyler’s bullion cubes for the broth Different brands will definitely change the taste of the finished soup , Did not taste anything like the soup you get at a restaurant

Combine Beef and Chicken Stock in a Pot.

Add Carrot, Onion and Garlic.

Bring to a Boil, Lower Heat, Cover Pot and Simmer For 30 Minutes.

Discard the Carrot, Onion and Garlic and Strain the Soup Through Cheesecloth.

Place a Small Amount of Each of the Green Onions, Mushrooms and French Fried Onions in Serving Bowls and Ladle the Broth Over Them. Serve.
